Living Advent Calendars are very special versions of Advent Calendars. They are made up of Christmas Lights and decorations being displayed in houses and other buildings. A new display is lit up each day from 1st-24th December.
Here are just a few. Perhaps you could search online for others.
In Hull in England, 24 houses in an area called “The Avenues” take part in decorating their windows. Some of my favorites are below but you can see larger pictures from 2002-2010 on the Avenues Online website.
In Hove, on the south coast of England, beach huts form a giant seafront Advent Calendar. Twenty Four beach huts are decorated and Christmas food and warming drinks given to the visitors .

In Henley-on-Thames, England, 24 buildings in the town put on displays

Saltaire in Yorkshire, UK, is a Victorian model village and a World Heritage Site. It’s living Advent Calendar takes place in 24 buildings including schools, churches, houses and businesses.
