Did you know that:
- The first Christmas trees were decorated with pastries, fruit, nuts, dates and candles.
- The first kind of tinsel was made of shredded silver.
- Garlands used to be made out of popcorn.
- Before electric Christmas lights real candles were used. They were stuck onto tree branches with melted wax or attached by pins. This was very dangerous.
