- Jingle Bells were used on sleighs so that they made a warning noise, like the horn on a car.

Holly Jolly Christmas Print

- The words Holly Jolly come from a song of that name. The song was written by Johnny Marks in 1964 for the TV show “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”.
- Johnny also wrote the song Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer based on the poem written by his brother in law Robert L. May.

Here’s a video of Holly Jolly Christmas from the TV show Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. The show was first on TV in 1964 and it’s been on every year since. It’s the longest running Christmas TV show ever.
