In yesterday’s post about the largest Christmas Trees in the world I asked if you knew that Sydney had the largest tree of its type in the world: It is the largest indoor Christmas Tree – a Swarovksi Crystal tree.
The 24m high tree tree spans all three floors inside the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) in Sydney, Australia. The tree is decorated with thousands of Swarovksi crystals and over 60,000 lights. It used 72 technicians, engineers, lighting consultants and crystal makers. It is possible to install a large indoor tree here because of the huge atrium that spans all the floors of the building.
